Christy Little, LMFT

Christy has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington since 2013 during which time she has worked in a variety of different therapy settings.  She is the owner of Kitsap Family Wellness which she established in 2019. Christy's therapy background includes work with all different areas of family challenges, including: adopted and foster families, families navigating the CPS and legal systems, first-time families adjusting to new parenthood, blended and separated families, military families, etc.  She specializes in complex family issues including affair recovery for couples, co-parent and divorce coaching for separating parents, and high-conflict couples and parents. Christy is also a WA state certified clinical supervisor and supervises new therapists and interns in their master's programs.


Outside of work, Christy is a mom, runner, yoga enthusiast, beach lover, and traveler. She is also training KFW's very first therapy animal.

Melanie Pearson

Melanie is the administrative support for Kitsap Family Wellness.  She has been working for KFW since 2020.  She receives all the office calls and digital inquiries, provides initial intake services for new clients, and assists existing clients with any concerns or questions they have.  Melanie also works as a liaison between our clients and clinical staff, providing scheduling services, external resources, and assistance with day-to-day needs of both the therapists and our wonderful clients.


When not at work, you can find Melanie spending time with family or cutting and styling hair.  She's also a licensed cosmetologist!  

Christi Carlton

Christi is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the state of Washington. She specializes in relationship issues, divorce, and struggles related to parenting and co-parenting. Christi enjoys working with individuals, couples, and teens as they navigate life transitions, anxiety and mood disorders, low self-esteem, body image concerns, self-injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and attachment issues. Coming from a family systems background allows her to consider not only what is happening for the client internally, but also the system and context in which the client exists. As your therapist, she will strive to create a therapeutic alliance that fosters change from within, believing that everyone deserves to live the life they want.

When not in the office Christi is likely to be found on top of a mountain somewhere, spending time with friends and family, or traveling to warm places.

Erica Encarnacion

Erica is a marriage and family therapy intern whose therapy work is being supervised by a fully-licensed MFT for efficacy.  She is a student in the marriage and family therapy program at Seattle Pacific University and plans to graduate in 2022.  She enjoys working with a variety of family challenges and age groups and is particularly interested in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.


When not at work, Erica

Kim Goerlitz

Kim is a marriage and family therapy intern whose therapy work is being supervised by a fully-licensed MFT for efficacy.  She is a student in the marriage and family therapy program at Seattle Pacific University and plans to graduate in 2022. She enjoys working with a variety of family challenges and age groups and focuses on offering a holistic wellness approach to all of her clients.


When not at work, Kim can be found in her garden, out for long walks, or spending time with her family.
